The INNOVATORY methodology defined a series of fields in which the students could work. The priorities presented here are chosen from the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN, and this way a local project is placed in global dimensions.

Affiliation to international processes is important and necessary for the INNOVATORY project and for any similar project which aims the involvment of young people in solving the communities’ problems. Local needs and wants can be defined in a larger, global context and the understanding of this context helps the young to empathise and to have a broader perspective on problems and possible solutions.

Good health and well-being for people – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

Decent work and economic growth – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

Gender equality – Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

Responsible consumption and production – Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Life on land – Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
